As an illustrator born and breed in Berlin, I have a lovingly rough view of everyday human life, historical abysses and remote areas. Inwardly I like to sit on the windowsill, observe other people's thoughts and make sense of incoherence. When I draw analogue, I love the »dirt« that happens along the way – and sometimes also the clean-up.
I studied visual communication, graphic design and illustration in Berlin-Weißensee and Paris. I have been working as a freelance illustrator for over 15 years and have a big heart for science, cultural projects and people with big ideas for the private sector.
I like to write in krapp-red ink, sort my island library by color, paint antiques white, and stir the garden to soothe the eye.
Large straw hats are an important part of my wardrobe. With that, I enjoy strolling through the Brandenburg landscapes, looking for beetles and the prickly elegy.
