Continued Improvements to Video Content

November 4, 2020 – Over the last few months, we’ve been busy adding stock video as a third content option alongside vectors and stock photos. With the release of videos, we’ve followed up by indicating which videos contain model and property releases.

The model and property releases provide the videographer with written permission to use the video commercially and are applicable when recognizable people or recognizable private property are included in the video. As a user, seeing that these releases are on file can provide you with additional confidence before downloading and using a video.

If a video has a model and property release, you’ll see that listed above the video details (as shown in the screenshot below).

Other video-related updates:

• We’ve polished the filtering options when searching for video. You can now filter by best match or newest videos, by duration or length of the video, by resolution, and by aspect ratio.
• We’re now supporting additional video aspect ratios including square videos for social media applications.
• The video preview experience has also been tweaked to be more consistent overall.

Branding, Bug Fixes, and More

With the introduction of our rebrand, we continue to update colors and various areas of Vecteezy to include our new look. Email communication should now be consistent with that new look.

And finally, we’ve fixed a multitude of bugs from search filter options, to scrolling on mobile, to copy updates for additional clarity.
