Really cool. Thanks for the work. Quick question: it looks like a Peeters’ projection map but I am not 100% sure. Could someone confirm the type of projection it is? Mercators’? Peeters? Else?

Umm.. if you use illustrator, you should know how to unlock layers…

Yes Great, and I figured out how to remove the logo.
Layers!
Ogres are like Onions (layers), and so is AI.

This is absolutely fantastic, easy to download and open. And its free… what more could you want?

Hey MacDaddy

I can’t seem to select for the vector. All buttons in the AI is disabled. I resaved it as a copy, but it is still protected. I know it wont be my AI as I have other file open and AI is working fine.

Is there something I am not doing right?

I am using AI CS2 and used Firefox to download and Winzip to unzip.

Hope for you reply at the soonest.

Your file makes my illustrator crash. I think its because you file has a strange CYMK profile.

Used this for some USAID project artwork, after hunting, I found this the best world resource… at least it fulfills all my needs, thanks a lot, this is AWESOME….

Wish I’d found this a week ago, could have saved myself a LOT of time! Downloaded fine with IE7, works fine on CS2. Tutorial mentioned above is genius too.

Download button does nothing. I’m sure the map is fine, but hard to tell when I can’t get hold of it. Oh well.
