I took the time to look at the sawdust picture, and came to this conclusion. Yes, this is a blatant knockoff. It has swirls going in the same direction in the same places, the little dots throughout. And the biggest similarity, how the foliage is higher on the right than the left, and how it dips in the middle. However, I like this one better.
this guy is a thief. how does he sleep at night knowing he’s got no talent so he has to rip off artists. why would you enter this into a competition so everyone could see it? i would be hiding this if i were you
I have carefully compared Igor’s and Sawdust’s images side-by-side. Apart from the central bird, the elements all vary. I can’t believe that Guy below thinks they are exactly the same.
Obviously this has been painstakingly drawn from scratch and Igor deserves credit for his work. I don’t think this is a rip-off, it’s an original piece of work, which just happens to bear some similarity to the Sawdust design. Who hasn’t been influenced at one time or another by something we see and love? Thank you Igor, it’s beautiful.

and still think that the work was "inspired" and not copied. How can you feel as though it’s okay to copy something that closely? If there is any connection between you and Sawdust, you should say so to avoid any confusion.
To all you people who are ripping on this guy for "plagerism," I think you’re rediculous! If you’re so dead set against copying something, then what are you doing on this site downloading OTHER PEOPLES work!?!?!?!?
Plus, I studied this Sawdust character’s site, and it is a little different. There are so many of these swirls and florals around now, that no one person can truly take credit for it as a completely original idea. GET OVER IT!
And to Igor, I’m going to believe that perhaps by inspiration you came up with this, and it is great work! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!! :)

I’m sorry mate, but this is not an example of being inspired by someone. He’s taken their work and added a few colours to it. In my book this is plagiarism.
He’s being inspired with that work obviously. And it’s not a crime. It’s Flattering for Sawdust.

Being inspired by someone is flattering. Blatant plagiarism of their work is pathetic. I recommend you do the right thing and explain that this is not your work.

To who made this ("igor," apparently) would you be able to share exactly how you made this? i’m new to Illustrator, and i’m trying to pick up techniques for organic shapes like you have here.
It is true that work is similar but not Exactly the same. So it can’t be stealing. It is obvious he use inspiration in similar composition of vectors and shapes. So What?
I am from Italy, country of design. Do you know how many artists from the past till now found inspiration in others work? Not just in graphics. No you don’t have idea! And nobody call them stealers.
You don’t want me to start searching on the web how many of you here and on other websites have strange similar vectors and arts.
I am an artist. I am in design more than 7 years, not to much in vectors, I have many very respectable clients. I can stand and tell you, he did great work. I like it very much no matter it is similar with some other work. He put it level up. So live refined composition with beautiful warm colors. He deserve 10/10.
"Happy Forrest" also 10/10. These two works and Just very few here deserve real attention. You can agree or disagree with me.
